The third and final album released under the pseudonym Pork Chop, this is a collection of one-takes recorded on a Sony IC handheld voice recorder by Dustin Owens just before the 2008 election. Featuring a nice collection of out of key vocals and flubbed guitar lines, it also showcases the growing songwriting styles and abilities of the performer. A lot of the songs still have a more country sound, with more overtly political lyrics than usual, but darker and bluesier numbers are included as well. An artist obviously still searching for his style and voice, it's an interesting look at an aspiring songwriter and a young man in the wake of the George W. Bush years.
